7 Days of Beauty - An Online Sanctuary
During turbulent times, within or without, we all need moments of respite and ease. The beauty of nature surrounds us - and can nourish us - if we take a few minutes to stop, breathe and pay attention. Day 2
Music: Alex Theory
What People are Saying In our trainings, we suggest that all clients be taught affect regulation techniques. Unfortunately, many clients do not practice and reinforce them on an ongoing basis. As with anyone, time and pressure often get in the way. These seven videos can support both you and your clients by engendering positive affect states through a combination of nature photography and music. They can help clients reinforce their Safe/Calm Place access, and provide additional resources for immediate stress reduction. Since each is only five minutes long, clients are likely to use them on an ongoing basis. They are also highly recommended for clinicians as a personal resource. Try them yourself to decide if they're appropriate for your clients and experience the potential of each video for stress reduction. - Francine Shapiro, creator of EMDR |
